Abstract: Information fundamentals are fields for the study of basic problems inherent in data, knowledge, and information, which have been accumulated rapidly in accordance with the development of computers and networks. This session focuses on basic theories and applications related to information fundamentals and access technologies. Basic theories and applications in the following or related fields will be covered:
(1) Modeling of Information and Users,
(2) Organization, Structuring, and Management of Information,
(3) Information Access and Mining (Information Retrieval, Question and Answering, Summarization, Classification, Extraction, Recommendation, Opinion and Trend Analysis, Visualization, etc.),
(4) Multilingual, Web, and Mobile Information Processing,
(5) Construction, Retrieval, Classification, and Management of Metadata/Content,
(6) Electronic Libraries, Knowledge Discovery, Representation, Organization, and Utilization, and
(7) User Interface
